Establishment of the Center:

Iğdır University Farmer Education Application and Research Center is an academic unit established for the purpose of developing the agricultural sector and increasing the knowledge level of farmers. The center was established by Iğdır University with the regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 19 November 2018 and numbered 30600.

Objectives of the Center:

The main objectives of the centre are:

• Training for Farmers: Organizing training on the latest techniques and practices in the agricultural sector and helping farmers increase their productivity.
• Research Activities: To bring innovations to the sector through scientific research in the field of agriculture and to offer best practices to farmers.
• Social Contribution: To support the development of the agricultural sector in the region and to encourage sustainable agricultural practices.
• Information Sharing: To increase the level of knowledge of farmers by sharing current developments in the agricultural sector.
