Congratulatory Visit to Dr. Halit ANAK: Academic Success and Productive Problems at the Same Table
A meaningful visit was held at our university on August 29, 2025. Dr. Halit Anak, who successfully completed his doctoral studies in the Department of Agricultural Sciences and serves as Ağrı Agricultural Quarantine Director, was congratulated in his office.
The visit not only celebrated an academic achievement but also addressed the general challenges faced by regional producers and proposed solutions. There was a mutual exchange of views on agricultural problems faced by producers, pest control, input costs, and sustainable production methods.
At the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İsmail ALASERHAT, Director of our University's Farmer Education Application and Research Center, congratulated Dr. Halit ANAK on his academic success and shared his views on producer problems.
At the end of the meeting, the contribution of university-farmer collaboration to regional agriculture was reiterated. It was stated that transferring academic knowledge and experience to the field will increase productivity and sustainability in production.
